Health setu
Health Setu is a healthcare continuity and coordination platform that connects patients, doctors, and hospitals through a secure digital layer.
Healthcare information is often scattered across prescriptions, diagnostic reports, discharge summaries, doctors, and hospitals. Patients may have to repeatedly explain their medical history, while doctors may not have complete clinical context when making decisions. At the same time, hospitals need better ways to coordinate operational information such as bed and service availability.
Health Setu addresses this gap by allowing patients to upload and organize their medical records into a chronological, source-linked health timeline. OCR and AI help extract, structure, and summarize information from documents, while patients can review and verify extracted details. Doctors can access authorized medical context through scoped, time-limited permissions, review source evidence, and add new prescriptions without overwriting historical records.
For hospitals, Health Setu provides an operational coordination layer for information such as bed availability, departments, services, and capacity, with timestamps and freshness indicators rather than treating availability as a guaranteed reservation.
The platform is built around privacy, consent, role-based access, auditability, and patient control. AI assists with extraction, organization, summarization, and identifying possible inconsistencies; it does not independently diagnose patients or prescribe medication.
Health Setu is designed to complement India's ABDM ecosystem, acting as an application and workflow layer that makes healthcare information more organized, understandable, and actionable across real-world healthcare workflows.
